The Riverdale Recreation Association (RRA) was formed in 1961 to provide a recreational resource for the members of the Association. The RRA is maintained by its members and participation is the key to the success of the Association. The RRA owns almost 13 acres at 810 Charlton Drive. The facility includes a 25-meter swimming pool and a recreation field. The RRA sponsors the "Riverdale Rays" swim team, which is a member of the Greater Peninsula Swimming Association. The RRA provides a variety of activities throughout the summer, which include swimming lessons for all ages and abilities, water aerobics, and private parties for all ages.
